As a freelancer, I was tracking invoices in one spreadsheet, expenses in another, and had no real idea what to set aside for taxes until it was almost too late. So I built one proper system to replace all of that.
The Freelance Vault is a $12 Excel/Google Sheets file: an invoice tracker with a live dashboard (total invoiced, paid, outstanding, net profit), an expense tracker with a tax-deductible flag on every line, a client tracker that auto-calculates total billed per client from your invoices, and a quarterly tax estimate sheet so you always know roughly what to set aside.
