I built gemhome because everything that actually matters about a UK home is public, but it's spread across a dozen government sites nobody visits. Flood zones, planning applications on the street, noise levels, what every house nearby really sold for, how full the local schools are, crime.
Renters get a free tool too: paste your rent and postcode and it checks a rent rise against official ONS figures for your area.
No accounts. You buy checks, you get a link, the link is your key.

A solid idea, especially for renters who usually fly blind. One thing that would really help is layering in a simple "estimated monthly running costs" section, pulling from EPC data for energy bills and council tax bands, so people can see the real all-in cost before they view.
