Flowky
Flowky is a focus timer that get angry when you're not focus
Flowky is a native macOS focus timer that adapts to how you actually work. Built with Tauri 2, React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, and shadcn/ui — fully local, no account required
I'm excited to share Flowky — a focus timer that adapts to you instead of forcing the same rigid Pomodoro on everyone.
Most timers assume every day looks the same. But some days you're locked in for 90 minutes straight, and other days you can barely string together 15. Flowky watches how you actually work — how often you get interrupted, how long it takes you to hit flow, whether you finish sessions or bail — and adjusts its suggestions over time.
A few things I care about:
🧠 It adapts — session-length suggestions come from your last 7 days, not a template.
🎯 Gentle, not naggy — a cute character nudges you when you drift to a distraction; it never guilt-trips or auto-logs.
📊 Honest reviews — daily focus score, 7-day trend, weekly summary, and a calendar heatmap so you can actually s
🔒 Fully local — everything lives in a SQLite file on your Mac. No account, no telemetry, no network calls. Ever.
🆓 Free & open source (MIT) — download it, read the code, fork it.
It's a native macOS app built with Tauri, so it's tiny and fast and lives quietly in
your menubar.
This started as a tool I build, and I'd genuinely love your feedback — what would make it part of your flow? 🙏
