I was working as a QA/QC manager for a local precast plant. When we were running our trucks, it was hard to keep track of our inventory for deliveries. Drivers would usually pull 1-2 guys from the production team to help them go and locate what they were loading for the day. major bottleneck and slowed down production. Also when products needed to be repaired, lack of communication, and lack of knowing who repaired what product. I know that their is bigger tech companies that use GPS tracking and blue tooth, but that is not feasible for small to medium size companies.
