Hi Product Hunt, I'm Nathan. I'm not a developer by trade. I just got tired of feeling a little bad every time I bought a coffee, and tired of money apps that either shamed me or buried me in jargon I did not understand. I wanted something calmer. Something that made saving feel less like punishment and more like slowly building toward something I actually care about. So I built Worth It. The idea is simple. You tell it the small things you skip during the week, a coffee here, a lunch there, and it shows you honestly what that money could become if you invested it instead. You pick the return rates yourself, it adjusts for inflation, and it never promises you will get rich. Then, to keep it from feeling like a spreadsheet, there is a weekly check in, a streak, and a little companion that hatches from an egg and grows as you go. I built almost all of it myself as a non technical founder, learning as I went, breaking things, fixing them, and slowly turning an idea into a real app with accounts, payments, and two languages. It took a lot longer than I expected and I am genuinely a little nervous sharing it here. There is a free demo on the page with no sign up, so you can try the whole thing before deciding anything. I would really love your honest feedback, the good and the harsh. I will be here all day answering everything. What would make this genuinely useful to you? Thanks for taking a look.

the hatched companion idea is such a sweet way to make saving feel less like a chore, love how you tied emotional payoff to the inflation-adjusted honesty. really well done.

Love the no sign up demo, got me actually playing with it for ten minutes before realizing it was that easy. The hatching companion thing is a nice touch, makes skipping a coffee feel less like deprivation.

Tried the demo and the little hatching companion thing is weirdly motivating, made me actually want to skip my afternoon coffee instead of just logging it out of guilt.

Curious how the return rates work in practice—do you set them yourself based on what you're investing in, or is there a default assumption like an index fund?

The little companion growing as I skipped a few coffees is such a clever hook, makes saving feel like a game instead of a chore. Also love that the rates are inflation adjusted so the numbers actually mean something.
