Hi everyone,
I'm a football fan and I wanted to create a different kind of football game. Instead of simply choosing your favorite players, DraftWC lets you draft legendary players from World Cup history and build your dream team.
The game is completely free, runs in your browser, and supports both English and Turkish. You can build your squad, choose a manager, play tournaments, compare your results, and I'm currently working on online multiplayer so you can compete with friends.
This project has been a passion project for months, and I'm still improving it with new World Cup teams, players, game modes, and features based on community feedback.

honestly the draft mechanic feels super smooth, like picking players and building the squad actually clicks into place without any fuss
This looks really fun, especially the friend tournament angle. One thing I'd love to see is a head to head matchup mode where your drafted squad actually plays against another person's team in like a simulated match, kind of like fantasy showdowns. Would make the drafting feel way more rewarding than just collecting players.
A cool addition would be letting users create private leagues with custom invite links so a group of friends can keep their drafts separate from the public pool. Right now it sounds like tournaments are shared, which makes it tough to run a small friendly competition.
