Earlier this year, I launched WordWise on Android to solve a problem I’ve always had while learning languages: keeping track of all the new words I come across. I used to scribble them in random notebooks or translate the same words over and over again.
Most language apps use predefined lists or exercises. I wanted something more personal, a way to save my own words while translating, organize them with emojis, tags, and notes, and practice them through smart flashcards to make them stick. That’s what WordWise does.
Since the first launch, I’ve improved the UI, added smoother flashcard practice, and made progress tracking even better. And now, WordWise is available on iOS! 🎉 As requested by many users, you can also import words in batch from Excel/CSV files, making it easier than ever to grow your vocabulary.
Whether you’re watching shows, taking classes, or reading in a new language, WordWise becomes your personal word journal. Always with you, even offline.
