I can see this helping a Zid store selling home decor or furniture where customers hesitate because they can't tell the actual scale or texture of a piece from static photos. A quick 3D spin could cut down on returns from items that looked different in person.
How much input do you need from a merchant to generate a usable 3D model, just a handful of product photos, or do you need a short video pass around the object?
Good luck with the Salla and Zid rollout, especially in the perfume and beauty categories where texture and packaging really matter.
I didn't want to make a login to try it, but seems like an interesting idea! I don't really need it but I think there is a large group of people who will want this.
finally tried wisad on my salla store and the 3d model feature is honestly wild for furniture pieces, way more useful than i expected for getting people to actually hit add to cart
