Hi Product Hunt! I’m Amit, a full-stack developer, and I built WhatsApp Logger because I wanted a way to keep a permanent record of my conversations without relying on proprietary cloud backups or third-party services that compromise privacy. Most 'loggers' out there require you to trust a middleman. I wanted something different: a bridge between the Baileys library and Firebase that you control entirely. Key highlights: Anti-Delete: It logs messages the second they arrive, so even if the sender deletes them, you still have the record. Privacy-First: You host the backend (Docker/Render) and the database (Firestore). Search & Export: Easily find old messages and export them to .txt files. I’d love to hear your feedback on the setup process and any features you'd like to see next (like enhanced media support or different database connectors)! Happy logging!
