Wethra started with a simple frustration: I’d check multiple weather apps every morning and still end up asking myself, “Do I actually need a jacket? Should I take an umbrella? What will it be like when I come home?”
Most weather apps do a great job of showing forecasts, but they leave the interpretation up to you. I wanted to build something that turns weather data into practical decisions.
Wethra doesn’t just tell you the temperature. It helps you understand what to wear, what to pack, whether rain is likely during your plans, and even checks both your outbound and return journey so you’re not caught out later in the day.
Building Wethra has been a huge learning experience. From designing the product and branding to launching on Android and preparing the iPhone release, it’s largely been a solo journey driven by feedback from early users.

Finally something useful for those indecisive mornings. The "what to pack" tip caught me off guard, it actually reminded me to grab an umbrella when the forecast only said 30% chance of rain.
Finally tried Wethra and the outfit suggestions were surprisingly accurate for my morning commute. Wish it nudged me about the surprise drizzle a bit sooner, but overall a nice little daily helper.
love how wethra actually translates "30% chance of rain" into "bring a light jacket" instead of leaving you guessing. that practical translation feels like it was built by someone who's been caught unprepared one too many times.
