Wayline
Plan a long drive without piecing it together by hand
Wayline is a road trip planner for people doing long drives. It builds a full multi-day plan, not just the route: fastest practical path, fuel stops at a set interval, smart overnight cities, hotel picks near the highway, an interactive map, Google Maps handoff, and printable trip exports. I built it because planning a real cross-country drive still feels way more manual than it should.
I built Wayline because route planning and actual trip planning are still weirdly separate.
Getting from A to B is easy. Figuring out where to stop for gas, where to stay, and how to split a long drive into days that feel normal is the part that usually turns into tabs, notes, and guesswork.
Wayline is my attempt to make that whole process feel calmer and more usable.
Right now it focuses on long interstate drives and gives you a full plan: route, fuel stops, overnight cities, hotel suggestions, Google Maps links, and exports.
If you try it, I’d love the blunt version:
- where the stop choices feel off
- where the UI gets in your way
- what you’d want before trusting it for a real trip

Wayline was hunted by Markuss Saule. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
