An anonymous shore for the things you can't say anywhere else. Give a bottle to Wavey, let it drift or sink, and maybe a stranger sends warmth back. No names, no feed, no forever.
Hi PH 👋
Wavey started from a feeling I think everyone knows: it's 1am, you have something to say, and there's no one you can say it to. Not because it's terrible, but because everyone you know is part of it.
So I built a tree hollow shaped like the sea. You hand your words to a little wave. She closes her eyes and listens, then carries the bottle out for a stranger to find. Or sinks it, unread and never stored, if release is all you needed.
The design decision I care most about: cruelty is impossible by structure, not moderation. Finders can only reply with warmth, picked from phrases tuned to what you're feeling. A few free words can ride along, but they arrive folded, so reading them is your choice, and one tap washes them away.
Everything runs in your browser. No accounts, no servers, nothing stored about you. Bottles dissolve after seven tides.
The full design system behind her (hand-inked world, physics sea, one tokens file driving code and Figma) is open at wavey.yilandong.com/design.
I'd love to hear: what would you sink, and what would you let drift?
