I started building VoxelWall because most live wallpapers on Mac still feel like videos playing behind your windows. I wanted the desktop itself to actually respond to what I’m listening to.
VoxelWall analyzes your Mac’s system audio locally and renders each scene in real time. Bass, rhythm and different frequencies can change the motion and behavior of the wallpaper while music is playing.
It works with Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, browsers and local audio — basically anything playing through your Mac.

I’d especially love to hear how you see the product: does VoxelWall feel more like a wallpaper app, a music visualizer, or something in between?
The visuals remind me of the animations that the old Windows Media Player ran when playing some music. This is very nostalgic for me. What makes this really "it" for me is the fact that VoxelWall reacts to all music players, even the music in browser. One-time purchase is also a rare thing nowadays and I really appreciate this. As a person who loves listening to music and also loves pretty live wallpapers I will definitely try this out. Can't wait!
