I'm excited to introduce Boxvy, a new way to turn your desktop into a personalized workspace.
I built Boxvy around a simple idea: your desktop should be more than a place for files and icons. It should be a place where the information and tools you use every day are always available.
With Boxvy, you can create your own workspace using widgets, bubbles, and menu bar icons. Add browser content, calendars, notes, shortcuts, weather, news, system stats, calculators, currency converters, galleries, and more; all organized exactly the way you want.
Some of the ways I use Boxvy:

The status bar shortcuts are genuinely useful on my Mac, feels snappy and doesn't get in the way like other widgets I've tried.
A sync option between desktop and mobile would be really useful so I can check my pinned notes and timers when I'm away from my computer. Right now it feels tied to the device, and being able to access the same bubbles from my phone would make it stick for me.
Finally gave the desktop bubbles a shot and the shortcuts panel actually saved me from digging through folders for a dozen clicks. Nice to see something that feels lightweight instead of another bloated workspace suite.
