I got bored of browsers being Chromium with different clothes so I made Virgin around the idea that Chromium should just render the web while everything that makes the browser feel like yours stays under my control, the UI, profiles, permissions, navigation, blocking, history, sessions, downloads, isolated identities, private browsing, all of it, built in C++20 and Qt, shipping on Linux first with Windows and macOS coming next, mostly because building this kind of low level stuff is way more fun than another dashboard, use it, break it
