So we built Vincio, a video editor where you just type what you want.
Type "/remove silence" and it analyzes your audio, finds the dead air, and cuts it out. Type "add captions" and it transcribes and overlays them. Type "speed up to 2x" and it handles the rest. You get a before/after comparison for every edit, and you can accept, undo, or modify with another message.
No timeline wizardry. No 50-panel interfaces. Just describe your edit in plain English.

Last semester I spent 6 hours editing a 45-minute lecture into a 5-minute clip. Most of that was just cutting silence and adding captions. That night I texted Shrey, "why can't I just tell the editor what to do?"
That text became Vincio.
The moment it clicked for me: I typed "remove silence" and watched dead air vanish in seconds, with a before/after so I could verify every single cut before accepting.
