I built ViewTikStories after noticing that simple TikTok tasks often required jumping between several websites. One tool handled videos, another handled profile pictures, and others were slow, cluttered or limited to a single feature.
The idea was to create one straightforward place for the tasks people actually need: viewing and downloading public stories, profile photos, reposts, videos and music, finding usernames, and checking follower counts.
The project started with a story viewer and gradually grew into a broader TikTok toolkit as I learned what users were searching for and where existing tools felt frustrating. My focus throughout the build was keeping every feature quick, clear and easy to use on both mobile and desktop.
