I’ve been building VideoFlow Studio because I was tired of startup launch videos that all felt the same: a landing page turned into slides, generic motion graphics, stock music, done.
I wanted something that could actually understand the product first, then figure out how to tell its story.
So VideoFlow Studio works a little differently.
You give a coding agent — Claude Code or Codex — your startup’s URL. It explores the product, figures out what it does, who it’s for, and why someone should care. Then it plans the story, builds the motion graphics, renders the video, and reviews its own output for visual issues before handing it back to you.
Getting started is literally:
npx @videoflow/studio
No project setup. No video editing experience required.
What I’m most excited about is that the result isn’t just a finished .mp4.
The video stays fully editable.
You can open it in VideoFlow’s built-in editor and move things around yourself, or keep talking to the agent:
“Make the intro faster.”
“Show more of the actual product.”
“Hold the end card for another second.”
…and it updates the video for you.
The rendering engine underneath VideoFlow is also fully open source under Apache-2.0. The goal is to make programmatic video something agents can actually build with, instead of hiding everything behind a per-render black box.

tried this with our own site (getdial.ai) expecting a hosted "paste URL, get video back" flow, and it's actually the opposite of what I assumed: the web page just hands you a terminal command, and the real work happens locally through your own Claude Code or Codex subscription. worth being upfront about in the listing since "type your startup URL and get a premium video trailer" reads like a web generator to a first-time visitor. once I understood that, the pitch made a lot more sense: you're not paying for GPU/rendering time, you're paying for the direction and judgment layer on top of a coding agent you already have. does the agent ever get the product's positioning wrong on a site with unusual structure, and if so is there a way to correct it mid-run or do you have to restart the whole thing?
