The core idea: instead of asking prices (which anyone can list at any number) or generic price guides, ValueSnap looks at what similar items actually sold for recently, then gives you a data-backed estimate from a single photo.

Uploaded a photo of my old MacBook and got a number way closer to what I actually sold it for last year than any trade-in quote I'd seen. Pulling from real sold listings instead of asking prices makes a noticeable difference.
Finally something that doesn't try to lowball me with a trade-in number. Tried it on an old camera and the valuation matched what I actually sold it for on eBay last month.
