V2Fun is an AI 3D creation platform built with self-developed 3D modeling and AI motion capture models. It helps creators turn images, prompts, and videos into high-quality 3D models, enhance assets with advanced 8K texture generation, and create motion-ready characters without switching between separate modeling, texturing, and mocap tools. V2Fun also supports image generation through models including Nano Banana and others, so creators can explore visual concepts and bring them into 3D faster.
Hi Product Hunt! This is Tammy 👋 We’re excited to launch V2Fun today.
Creating a usable 3D character is still too fragmented. You often need one tool for modeling, another for texturing, another for animation, and sometimes even a motion capture setup just to make the character move.
V2Fun brings these steps into one AI-powered workflow.
You can start with an image or text prompt, generate a 3D character, enhance it with 8K textures, and bring it to life using AI motion capture from regular videos.
With this launch, we’re especially excited to introduce two new features:
- 8K textures for more detailed and presentation-ready 3D characters
- AI motion capture to turn regular videos into character motion
Our goal is to help game makers, character creators, 3D printing hobbyists, and animation-driven creators move faster from idea to usable 3D assets.
We’re just getting started, and we’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, or suggestions below.
Congrats on the launch. The single pipeline pitch makes sense, most tools in this space still make you bounce between separate modeling, texturing, and mocap tools and something gets lost every time you export and reimport.
Curious about the 8K texture step specifically, since that's the part I haven't seen addressed yet in the thread. When generating textures from a prompt or reference image, how consistent is the result across different views of the same character, does the texture stay coherent front to back and side to side, or is that still something that needs manual touch up once the model is built.
I like the direction here. AI 3D needs more tools focused on usable outputs, not just impressive screenshots.
Been testing this on my HarmonyOS phone. Took a photo of my desk toy, 30 seconds later I had a 3D model I could spin around and export. The deep integration with the Huawei gallery is surprisingly smooth – 3D files show up right next to my photos. Not CAD-accurate by any means, but for quick concepting or 3D printing hobbyists, it's genuinely impressive. Free tier is generous. If you're on HarmonyOS, definitely worth a download.
Will users be able to fine-tune or edit motion capture results in the future?
Are there any restrictions on using V2Fun-generated models in games or videos?

The workflow makes sense for people who want to go from concept to something animated without learning several tools first.
I’d love to see examples of the same character going from image to 3D to motion capture.
"Self-developed 3D modeling and AI motion capture models" is an interesting claim to lead with since most platforms in this space are building on top of existing open models or licensed tech. What's actually proprietary in V2Fun's stack versus built on top of existing foundations, and what does "self-developed" cover specifically, the training data, the architecture, the fine-tuning approach, or something else?
Hi! Quick question, just curios to know can this be used for creating 3 schematics not for games per se, but for infographics for pitch decks etc, like professional grade minimalistic with proper color theme, minimal 3d like lines diagram style?
👋 Hey Product Hunters! I'm Yuta from the V2Fun team. Thanks so much for checking out V2Fun today!
A bit of context on why we built this: 3D modeling has always felt like a locked room to most people — great software, steep learning curve, and a workflow that only makes sense if you've spent years in it. We wanted to change that.
V2Fun is an AI-powered 3D creation platform that helps creators turn ideas, images, and videos into usable 3D models, textures, rigs, and animations — all in a browser-based workflow. We're powered by our own VAE+DiT-based 3D generation model, trained in-house, so you're getting real geometric accuracy, not just a "looks kind of 3D" render.
We’re especially excited to support indie game teams, animation creators, XR/VR builders, and anyone experimenting with AI + 3D.
Would love to hear your feedback, questions, or even what you’d create with V2Fun. Thanks for the support! 🚀
Congrats on your launch! Just curious about are there plans to support scene generation in the future?
Congratulations on your launch, and I am happy to test this 3D-generating tool. Sounds interesting!
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Hans 👋
We just launched V2Fun — an AI-powered 3D content creation platform built for creators.
Turn your 2D sketches or text into high-quality 3D models in under 60 seconds. Add animations with one click. No 3D experience needed.
AI Image → AI Modeling → AI Animation. One seamless workflow.
We're live at v2fun.ai — would love your support and feedback today! 🚀
The AI motion capture feature caught my attention. I'm curious how well it handles videos with heavy camera movement or partial occlusion? Since those tend to break tracking.
The video-to-mocap without a separate pipeline is the interesting bit for me, most tools make you bounce between modeling, texturing, and mocap apps. What formats do the motion-ready characters export to, and are they rigged clean enough to drop straight into Blender or Unity?
