Hi Product Hunt! I built UVM for Mac users who need Windows but do not want to become virtualization experts first.
The usual setup path is full of decisions: finding the right Windows image, choosing ARM64 or x64, preparing installation media, setting practical VM defaults, installing drivers, and recovering when setup is interrupted. UVM turns that into one guided flow, using official Windows 11 media from Microsoft and matching it to the Mac in front of you.
UVM is an independent app based on the open-source UTM project. It is intentionally focused on the Windows-first experience rather than being a general-purpose virtualization toolbox. I would love to hear where Windows setup on Mac has been most frustrating for you.
