I'm excited to share utilities101 with you today. Like many of you, I enjoy playing a quick game of Sudoku or generating a crossword puzzle during my lunch break. But I got incredibly frustrated that almost every puzzle site today is bloated with autoplaying video ads, paywalls, and cookie popups.
I decided to build a clean, static, lightning-fast alternative.

the no-ads-no-account stance is refreshing, and the printable formatting for sudoku and crosswords is a thoughtful touch most sites skip. love that it's just 21 focused tools done well.
The crossword generator actually worked well for a custom puzzle I made with family inside jokes, and the whole site loaded instantly with zero ads in sight.
Love the no-bloat approach, printing-friendly puzzles are a rare find. One idea: add a "save and resume" feature with local storage so you can pick up a Sudoku or crossword across sessions without needing an account.
Love the no-ads approach and printable format. One thing that would make this even better is a daily streak tracker for the puzzle games, so you can see your solve times trending over time and challenge yourself to beat yesterday's score.
The print formatting for crosswords actually works really well, no awkward cutoffs or weird margins like other sites. Genuinely fast loading too, which is rarer than it should be.
