Hey, I'm Jacques, the developer behind Unfold.
Have you ever felt like journaling apps just end up sitting on your phone, empty? Or that you find it hard to keep in touch with your friends and family? I wanted to change this, and being new to app building, I tried lots of journaling apps. Most journal apps are just a list of entries that you never look back at. I thought, what if your writing became something you'd actually want to read back or perhaps share to your friends?
That's Unfold. You write daily, and at the end of each month your entries become a digital magazine with real editorial design, typography, photo layouts, and pull quotes extracted from your own words. It can then be shared with friends or family to update them on your life, or just kept to yourself for a fun way to relive your month and track your goals!
I wanted to make sure all info added by users stayed on device, no sending to third parties or AI bots. Just clean, private and useful.
