TypeFlow is a 100% local-first developer workbench. With over 290+ built-in parsers, it instantly converts JSON, YAML, SQL, and even legacy protocols like SWIFT/FIX into modern type definitions directly in your browser without sending your sensitive data to the cloud.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Jop, the builder of TypeFlow.
As a developer, I was constantly frustrated by pasting sensitive JSON or SQL schemas into random online converters that send my data to unknown servers. I wanted a tool that was incredibly fast, beautifully designed, and most importantly, 100% private.
That’s why I built TypeFlow. It processes everything locally in your browser using Web Workers. No backend, no telemetry. It currently supports over 290+ transformations, including AI-assisted parsing for legacy formats like SWIFT or FIX (using BYOK so we never touch your API requests).
A few cool things you can do: 🔒 Convert sensitive schemas safely offline ✨ Instantly generate 50 rows of global mock data based on inferred schemas 🌐 Visualize complex nested data with the built-in Schema Graph
I'd love to hear your feedback on the UI, the conversion accuracy, and what languages or formats you'd like to see next! I'll be here all day answering questions. Let me know what you think! 🚀
