As a founder, I was drowning in scattered notes, ideas, feedback, and reminders spread across apps and screens. Every great product starts with a captured thought, but mine kept getting lost. So I built Tucky: notes that dock to the edge of your Mac screen, with an AI agent inside that turns a passing idea into action. It started as a tool for my own chaotic workflow, and it became the quiet assistant every founder wishes they had. Tucky is for people who think fast and need their notes to keep up.

Hey @maehdi_harzallah congratulations on the launch!

This is a cool idea. I have this situation myself where I end up with a collection of notes I want close to hand and not hidden in folders.

I wanted to ask a question about the pricing structure. A lot of features seem behind a payment, so users need to pay before getting a full taste of what Tucky could do.

Was there a reason for this? It seems you could push for a paid subscription from the beginning and avoid supporting a free plan all together.

Well done again on the launch!

Great. Congratulations on the launch! By the way, which AI models do you use? Why not use Apple’s Foundation Model?

Docking notes as a thin stripe on the screen edge is such a clever way to keep ideas one glance away without the context switch of opening yet another app.

I like the focus on keeping things simple and out of the way. The “quiet assistant” idea fits the product really well. 🙌

Congrats on the launch! Love the idea of notes being always accessible without having another app window open. Keeping everything local and encrypted is a nice touch too. Any plans to bring Tucky to Windows as well ? Would love to try

The thin stripe idea is clever. Every notes app fights for your attention, this one deliberately hides until you need it. That restraint is harder to design than it looks. Congrats on the launch!

Docking notes to the screen edge instead of another window is the right call, most note apps lose to the "just one more tab" problem. Since it's local and encrypted but Plus taps "the best LLM models," where does that boundary sit - does the agent call out to a cloud model only when you explicitly ask it something, or does it also read your notes in the background to suggest actions?

Between managing different projects and jumping from task to task, my notes used to be a complete mess. I’ve been using Tucky regularly, and being able to capture a passing thought without breaking focus is a game changer. It really is the quiet assistant every fast-paced workflow needs.

Congrats on the launch! What is Tucky best at? What are the top use cases for founders - where you think it beats other tools?
