News headlines usually show individual attacks, but they rarely communicate what a full day or night looks like across the entire country.
I built Tryvoha to make that scale visible.
Tryvoha is an independent, non-commercial visualization of air alerts and publicly reported Russian aerial threats across Ukraine. The live map shows current reported events, while the timeline allows visitors to replay previous hours and watch an ordinary day unfold.
Tryvoha is not an official warning or military tracking system. It is based on official alerts and open-source reports, so displayed locations, directions and trajectories may be approximate. People in Ukraine should always rely on official warning channels for safety information.
The project is free, requires no registration and does not accept donations or financial support.
For visitors who want to support Ukraine directly, the website links to established organizations, including UNITED24 and Come Back Alive. All donation links lead directly to their official websites, and Tryvoha never processes payments.
I would especially appreciate feedback on:
— whether the scale is understandable to someone outside Ukraine; — whether the timeline is clear and easy to use; — what additional context could make the visualization more meaningful.
Adding a sound or push notification option would be huge for people who want real time alerts without staring at the map. Could be optional and tied to specific oblasts so folks only get warned about threats in regions they care about.
