I love Mermaid because diagrams live as text, next to the code. But every time I needed a quick flowchart, I spent more time fighting syntax and auto-layout than actually thinking.
So I built TryMermaid: drag shapes on a canvas and it writes the Mermaid code for you, or type the code and watch the canvas update. You can switch anytime and nothing is lost.
✨ Visual canvas + code, always in sync 📐 All Mermaid diagram types with live preview 🖼️ PNG/SVG export that keeps your layout 🔗 Share links and embeds 🤖 MCP server so Claude and other AI agents can build diagrams for you
It’s free and needs no sign-up, so you can try it in 10 seconds: trymermaid.app
I’d love your feedback. Which diagram type should get visual canvas editing next: sequence, ER, or mind maps?
