I’m Matt, a dad and data enthusiast who got hooked on daily word games but grew frustrated with how "heavy" and cluttered most of them feel on mobile. I wanted something that just works - fast, clean, and challenging.
That’s why I built Trilogy. It’s a daily word chain puzzle: find the one word that connects two others into common phrases or compounds. It resets at midnight, features three difficulty tiers, and includes an emoji-based score card for sharing your streaks.
Love the concept of finding that middle word that ties two phrases together, super satisfying when it clicks. One thing that would hook me long term is a daily streak system with themed packs, like movies, food, or science, so each day feels fresh instead of just harder. Would keep me coming back for sure.
Gave the first few rounds a shot and the three-word format is genuinely a fun twist on word puzzles. Took me a minute to catch on, but once I did, I kept thinking "of course" when the answer popped up.
The three-word format makes it way more interesting than a standard crossword. Caught myself replaying yesterday's puzzle just to see if I missed any links.
Love the word chain concept, keeps my brain sharp during coffee breaks. One idea: add a "hint" option that reveals one of the two compound words without spoiling the missing link, especially helpful on the harder midweek puzzles when you're stuck between two possible answers.
Love the word chain concept, it hits that sweet spot between quick and brainy. One thing that would keep me coming back is a daily streak tracker with a small stat showing how many puzzles I solved in a row, plus the option to share the day's result as an image with the three words blurred out so friends can guess.
