I built trato.cash after watching the same thing happen over and over in Telegram P2P groups: someone agrees a trade, sends the money first, and the other side vanishes. Those groups are full of "is @X trustworthy?" messages, and the answer is always somebody's vague memory.
The core bet is that reputation only works if the identity behind it is expensive to throw away. Every profile here is anchored to a Telegram account — we show the account ID, roughly how old it is, and every time the @username or display name has changed. If someone rebrands after a bad deal, you see it.
What's live today:
• TrustScore weighted by volume and recency, not a naive average
• Verification: ID documents reviewed by a human, or a fast track for admins of known trading groups
• Scam reports with evidence — a flagged account is frozen and can't edit its own profile, but gets a dispute channel to answer back
• An embeddable badge so sellers can show their record on their own site

The question I'd most like feedback on: how do you bootstrap a platform whose entire value is other people's reviews? Ask me anything.
Would love to see a way to link multiple Telegram accounts under one profile, since some of us have a personal and a business handle. Right now it feels like I'd have to pick one and lose the other history.
Would love to see a built-in escrow option tied to the reputation score so I can hold funds until both sides confirm the trade went through. Would make this feel way safer than just relying on reviews after the fact.
