Native time tracking for freelancers who bill by the hour. Start a timer from the menu bar or the MacBook notch, and fix forgotten time by dragging blocks onto your day. Projects with hourly rates and budgets become PDF timesheets clients accept. A built-in MCP server lets Claude start timers and log your hours. Import your full history from Tyme, Toggl, Clockify, Harvest & more. No account, your data stays on your devices. One purchase covers Mac, iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch, widgets included.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Tobias, the solo maker of Tracked. I've been shipping apps since 2014 (the first one reached 70,000+ users), and for most of that time I've billed clients by the hour. Tracking those hours was the part of the job I did worst. I'd forget to start the timer, rebuild my week from memory on Friday, and round down when I wasn't sure. That's work I did and never invoiced. So Tracked is built around three things: 1. It should be hard to forget. The timer lives in the menu bar and at the MacBook notch, starts with ⌘T, and asks what to do when you step away. When you forget anyway, you drag a block onto your day and it's fixed in seconds. 2. Your hours are your business. No account, no server of mine. Your data is a SQLite database on your device, with optional sync through your own iCloud. The App Store privacy label says "Data Not Collected". 3. It should fit the tools you already use. Tracked ships an MCP server, so you can tell Claude "log 2h on the Acme redesign yesterday afternoon" or ask "how many billable hours this month?" and it runs locally. There's also Shortcuts, AppleScript, and full-history import from Tyme, Toggl, Clockify, Harvest and 7 more. Pricing: 14 days free with everything unlocked, then $3.99/mo, $29.99/yr, or $79.99 once. One purchase covers Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. 🎁 For Product Hunt: code PRODUCTHUNT takes 50% off Lifetime, until Oct 9. Tap "Redeem Code" on the paywall or in Settings, or use https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ct... I'm here all day. One question for you: what made you give up on the last time tracker you tried?

Awesome approach to time tracking, and I love you have a life-time option. Bets of luck.

kinda curious about dragging blocks to fix forgotten time. i've always messed up with starting timers, maybe this'll help me be less of a mess. but then again, i might just forget to drag them too. classic me.

Who hunted Tracked?

Tracked was hunted by Tobias Schümann. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
