Approve requests, inspect context, and control supported Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and other agent sessions from iPhone over LAN, Tailscale, VPN, or your own tunnel. No TraceFence-hosted agent relay.
Hi Product Hunt, I built TraceFence after too many agent runs stopped on a permission prompt while I was away from my Mac.
TraceFence pairs a local Mac control center with an iPhone companion. It brings supported approvals, session actions, context, TokenScope usage, and Agent Guard audit events into one workflow. The Mac remains the source of truth, and the phone connects over a network you control rather than through a TraceFence-hosted agent relay.
The GitHub macOS build is the fastest release channel for features and bug fixes. The iPhone companion is available through TestFlight. I would love feedback on two things: which agents you need next, and which remote controls deserve the strongest confirmation step.
Remote approving agent commands from the phone is genuinely useful, especially the no-relay setup over LAN/Tailscale. One thing that would make this even better for me: a one-tap kill switch on the mobile UI that immediately terminates any active agent session, not just denies new ones. Right now I can see requests waiting but not stop something already running mid-execution.
Being able to quickly approve a coding agent from my phone while away from my desk sounds genuinely useful. One thing that would make it even better is a clear history view of past sessions with searchable logs, so I can review what an agent did earlier in the day without needing to be back at my terminal.
one thing that would be really nice is a quick toggle to auto approve read only tool calls since those are basically harmless and right now i still have to tap through them which kind of defeats the point of quick phone approvals when im away from my desk

Who hunted TraceFence?
TraceFence was hunted by Scarlett. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
