I personally kept facing the same problem reading multiple research papers, blogs and watching YouTube videos with barely enough time to go through all of it. Most of the time I just needed a few key points or a quick summary, not to sit through the same information repeated in slightly different words.
Also, I thought it'd be cool to build a library where others could share their own things for everyone to discover and read.
So I built a personal tool to solve exactly that.
