Hi Product Hunt — I’m James, founder of Togetha.
I built Togetha around a simple belief: as AI and automation reshape work, people will need stronger ways to find purpose, belonging, and meaningful contribution outside traditional jobs.
The first version is intentionally practical. Organizations can create volunteer opportunities, manage signups, approve or waitlist volunteers, invite team members, confirm attendance, and issue verified service records. Volunteers can discover opportunities, sign up, track verified hours, export their record, and share a public purpose profile.
Togetha is starting as a local-first civic-tech platform, with the goal of becoming infrastructure for verified community impact.
I’d love feedback on the product, positioning, and what would make this more useful for volunteers and organizations.
Tried it out and the service loop idea really clicked for me, especially seeing my hours stack up on a purpose profile after a couple of shifts. The waitlist flow feels smoother than the spreadsheets my org has been using.
How does Togetha verify that someone actually showed up and completed their volunteer hours, and can organizations customize that verification process?
finally tried this and the verified service records piece is what got me, it fills in the gap between showing up and actually having proof for applications or resumes.
Would love to see a calendar sync feature so I can drop confirmed shifts straight into Google Calendar with reminders. Right now I'd have to manually copy everything over after getting approved, which feels like extra friction for volunteers juggling work and family schedules.
One thing that would make this way more useful for me would be calendar sync for shifts or recurring commitments, so I can see my volunteer hours alongside work and family without bouncing between apps.
