todai is your personal AI guide for mental clarity and emotional balance. Track your mood, uncover patterns, and get science-based tools — anytime, anywhere.
Hey everyone — I’m Gosha, I run operations at todai.
A year ago, we started todai with a simple question:
What if self-reflection was less vague — and actually actionable?
Most tools we tried were either:
– too shallow (“How do you feel today?”)
– too clinical
– or too focused on productivity over perspective
So we built todai as a daily AI companion that helps you think clearly, especially when your inner noise gets loud.
At the core of todai is something we call the Happy Lifestyle Index — a simple way to track where your emotional energy is going, and what you can adjust to feel better, not just do more.
Here’s what you can do inside the app:
✅ Start a daily check-in — write or voice
✅ Get feedback from AI on what’s behind your state
✅ Use tools like “Reframe” and “Reset” to shift mindset
✅ Track changes over time via your personal HLI
✅ Reflect on decisions, patterns, emotional triggers
✅ Build a habit of mental clarity (without writing essays)
It’s built for moments when everything feels urgent and important — but you need help cutting through the noise and focusing on just one thing that truly matters.
Or those end-of-day spirals where it feels like “nothing got done” — todai helps you spot real wins and reframe effort as progress, not failure.
Our approach isn’t just another AI wrapper on top of journaling. The core methodology behind todai was developed in collaboration with a psychology faculty member — an associate professor with deep expertise in self-reflection and emotional regulation. Together, we designed a structured system that helps users move from vague feelings to concrete insight, without needing to be “in therapy mode.” It’s built to be practical, respectful, and grounded in real psychological frameworks.
We’re not trying to replace therapists or optimize your life into a system.
We just want to give a space where they you pause, think, and refocus.
Appreciate you checking it out — happy to answer anything here.

Wow! Mental health is not a trend — it’s a necessity.
Love how you’re using technology to serve people gently, wisely, and with heart.
Wishing you all the success — the world needs more of this. 🌱
It’s definitely a problem that hasn’t been cracked yet, and I’m glad people are still exploring new angles :)
Most mood apps just collect data—todai actually helps understand it. That psych-backed approach? Exactly what my chaotic brain needs. Consider me signed up!
Todai sounds super innovative with its Happy Lifestyle Index, offering a practical, psychology - backed way to manage emotions and self - reflection. I’m really stoked to see how it helps folks find mental clarity and emotional balance in daily life. Just curious—how does it make sure the AI feedback on users’ emotional states is accurate and effective?
This isn’t productivity-focused — it’s clarity-focused. It helps me find peace in the chaos instead of pushing me to do more. That shift in perspective is huge.
Go @goshatirov ! Loved the onboarding cards and the intro sesh. Looking forward to insights!
Happiness actually resonates quite a bit with our mission as well - excited to see where you take this!
Just downloaded the app and the interface is clean and intuitive. My first impression was very positive. The questions don’t feel overwhelming or intimidating, instead, they’re thoughtfully designed to gently guide you into self-reflection. It creates a calming, safe space to share your thoughts, which I really appreciate. I’ve added it to my personal development app collection and will be exploring it further soon.
This should be a must have app on everyone's devices. Congrats on the launch, team!
Just came across todai and honestly, I’m really excited about it. Most productivity or journaling tools push you to do more, but todai feels different—it’s focused on helping you feel better and think more clearly, especially when your mind is noisy or overwhelmed.
The idea of the Happy Lifestyle Index (HLI) really stood out to me—it’s such a simple but powerful way to understand where your emotional energy is going, and what might need adjusting. It’s not about fixing everything instantly, but about building awareness and clarity over time.
What I’m most looking forward to trying:
✅ Quick daily check-ins (with voice or writing)
✅ AI reflections that actually help unpack what I’m feeling
✅ Tools like “Reframe” and “Reset” to shift my mindset on the spot
✅ Tracking emotional patterns and seeing how I evolve
It’s like having a calm, thoughtful companion in your pocket that helps you navigate your day without pressure. Feels like something I could actually stick with—excited to try it out and build a habit of more mindful living.
Pretty cool spin on habit tracking through emotional status. Looks like a very interesting app!
Congrats on the launch & good luck!
Just discovered Todai love the concept of a personalized happy lifestyle index. The UX is smooth, and I appreciate the science-based approach to tracking mood and emotions.
It feels like a calm companion that quietly nudges you to reflect and realign.
