We built TheyPaid because we kept coming back to one question: if crypto is supposed to give people more control over their money, why should accepting a payment require giving that control to another company?
That’s basically where TheyPaid started.
When someone pays through TheyPaid, the money goes directly to your own wallet. We don’t hold it or keep a balance on your behalf. We just handle the parts around the payment, like creating the invoice, watching the transaction on-chain, updating the payment status, and giving you the tools to connect it to your product.
There’s no KYC, no monthly fee, and you can use the API or our WordPress and WHMCS integrations depending on how you want to set things up.
The idea was never to make crypto payments feel more “crypto.” Actually, the opposite. We wanted the experience to feel familiar and simple for a business, while still letting the merchant stay in control of the funds.
We’re launching on Product Hunt because we want to hear from people who actually use payment tools, build checkout flows, or have thought about accepting crypto and decided not to.
