If you ask what inspires us at The Breakfast the most, I would say it’s talking to people. That is why we are building an app for meeting new people in real life, over breakfast. And that’s why we enjoy talking to our users so much!
Based on member feedback and a dataset of 50k+ chances (we call every introduction a chance), we crafted the BRIOCHE algorithm that we’re launching today on Product Hunt!
BRIOCHE stands for Breakfast Integrated Ongoing Chances Estimation — it finds you the best chance amongst the people who are also looking for chances at the moment.
The interesting part is that now you can set your breakfast preference to look for someone similar to you (with more things in common) or for someone diverse (with more things to discover).

Congrats on the launch, girls! I just downloaded the app and signed up. Gotta say the design is super cool, and the whole registration process was smooth. Although, I hit a bug while picking my traits and had to restart the app.
So, I selected my native language as the app suggested, but I also wanna select English. I wanna meet some cool native English speakers for breakfast. Is there a way to do that in the app that I missed?

I love this idea. I personally got too tired of the over-saturated market for dating apps. I am not looking for a date, but I enjoy meeting new people for conversations!
