Turn images into estimated material maps, compare OpenGL and DirectX normals, inspect seams, and export PNGs or a ZIP. Free, no account needed. Images are processed in your browser. Public AI generation is not available in this release.
This release is for people who have a surface image and want to check what they can use in a material before opening a larger workflow.
You can create five image-derived maps, compare OpenGL and DirectX normal conventions, inspect repeating seams, preview a material in 3D, and download PNGs or a ZIP. The free tools work without an account, and selected images are processed in your browser.
There is a small reproducible test in the normal-map guide: one synthetic height image, two normal exports, exact settings and downloadable files. It makes the green-channel difference visible without changing the source or strength.
A few boundaries: these are estimated maps, not measured PBR or a high-poly bake. Material-map output is 1024 × 1024 with a centered square crop. Public AI text generation is not enabled in this release.
I’d like feedback on the normal-map controls and seam inspection: what is unclear, and what stops you from using the exported files in your workflow?
Disclosure: this launch copy was prepared with AI assistance and checked against the working public release.

Texel was hunted by qing lu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
