Hi, I’m building Tenuo, a keyboard customization app for macOS inspired by tools like VIA.
You create layers of mappings for your keyboard and configure them in a visual editor. Hold your chosen layer key to use those mappings, then release it to return to typing.
You might build a layer for editing text, shortcuts in your design tools, or opening the apps and files you use throughout the day. You can keep separate profiles for different setups.
The free app includes keyboard remapping, layers, profiles, and automatic updates. Pro adds app-specific mappings, actions for apps and files, Apple Shortcuts, profile history, and iCloud sync.
Pro is $12 / €12 once for up to 3 Macs, before applicable taxes. All the code, including Pro, is open source under MIT, so you can inspect the code, change it, or build it yourself. Buying Pro supports development and unlocks those features in the official app.
