Tchin turns any screen into a party-games console: the shared screen is the stage, and everyone's phone becomes a controller (just scan a QR). No app, no account, free — right in your browser. Four games live: bluff, strategy, a maze race, and cards.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Tchin because every game night hit the same wall: download an app, make an account, and somehow everyone ends up crowding around one phone. Tchin flips it — the TV (or a laptop) is the stage that shows the game, and each person's phone becomes their controller by scanning a QR. Everyone's in within 30 seconds. No install, no account, and it's free. If you've played Jackbox, similar energy — but free and nothing to buy. 4 games so far: 🎭 Word Impostor — bluff & deduction (3–10) ◳ Golden Squares — a 2-player strategy duel 🌀 Maze — up to 20 players race a maze lit only by their phone 🃏 Wild Draw — chaotic card shedding It runs entirely in the browser and works in FR & EN. I'd love your feedback — especially on the 30-second "everyone joins" flow. What would make you pull it out at your next party? 🥂

Comment highlights

Tried the bluff game at a small get-together and the no-app phone controller thing just worked, everyone had a controller in like 20 seconds. Honestly the QR scan setup is the slickest part, it kind of gets out of the way so you actually play.

A bit more game variety would go a long way, especially something cooperative so larger groups aren't always competing. A team-based trivia mode or a shared escape room style puzzle where everyone contributes clues could be a fun fit.

the no-app QR controller thing is genuinely clever, that's the kind of friction-killer that usually takes forever to get right and you guys just made it feel effortless.

The no-app QR controller thing worked way better than I expected on my friends' mixed phones. The maze race got pretty competitive at a get-together last weekend.

Scan the QR, grab a phone, done. The bluff game had my whole group yelling within two minutes, such a smooth way to get everyone playing without the app download friction.
