I’m Imtinan, the maker of TaxesLedger.
I built TaxesLedger because most online tax calculators return one unexplained number. That might be enough for a quick purchase, but it is not enough when you are checking a receipt, reconciling revenue, comparing state rates, or selling across different jurisdictions.
TaxesLedger is my attempt to make tax calculations more transparent and practical. It includes:

The verification math thing is honestly a nice touch, super useful when you're double checking work. One thing I'd love to see is a way to save calculation history locally or export to CSV, kind of a pain having to re-enter numbers if I'm doing a batch of similar invoices.
The verification math shown alongside each result is a nice touch, makes it easy to double-check the math rather than just trusting the number. The 42,000 ZIP lookup worked instantly for mine.
Love that there is no signup and the verification math shows the work. One thing that would make this ten times more useful for me is the ability to save or export a history of calculations, maybe as a CSV or PDF, so I can hand it off to my accountant without retyping everything by hand.
