I’m Michele, a full-stack developer and chronic tab hoarder.
I built TabYell after realizing that normal tab managers were far too polite. I didn’t need another dashboard asking me to organize my tabs—I needed my browser to call me out the moment things got out of control.
Set your own tab limit, and once you cross it, a sarcastic voice starts judging every new tab. There are six escalating levels, ranging from mild disappointment to accusations of digital terrorism. TabYell also includes a live tab counter, an on-demand “Shame me now” button, customizable voice settings, and full English and Italian support.
It started as a silly idea, but it became a surprisingly effective—and much more entertaining—way to notice tab-hoarding habits.
TabYell is completely free, and this is my first Product Hunt launch, so I’d genuinely love your feedback: Is it funny enough to stay installed? What should it yell next? And, most importantly, how many tabs do you have open right now?
