Symt is a self-hosted location platform - maps, routing, geocoding, and zones — that you run on your own infrastructure instead of renting from Google, Mapbox, or TPL. We built it because map bills scale with your success. Every order, every load, every lookup meters up — and your users' location data lives on someone else's cloud. Symt flips that: one stack you own, flat cost, data that never leaves your servers.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mo, founder of Symt. We built Symt around one problem: maps are the tax you can't escape. The more orders, loads, or lookups you do, the more Google/TPL bill you — forever — and your users' location data lives on someone else's cloud. So we built a full location stack you actually own. OpenStreetMap-based, self-hosted, flat cost. Maps, routing, geocoding, zones, and a dispatch matrix — the whole kit — running on your own servers, with drop-in SDKs so switching off Google takes about two lines. We're honest about where we are: Pakistan coverage is solid today, Saudi is rolling out, and we're building toward transit and traffic using local fleet + metro data — something even Google struggles with here. This is early, and I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially from anyone who's felt the Google Maps bill sting. Try it at maps.symt.ai, and ask me anything 🙌

Ran it on a small box over the weekend and was surprised how clean the routing responses felt compared to stitching Mapbox calls together. The flat-cost angle alone makes it worth a look for anyone tired of watching map bills climb with every order.
