Hey everyone! I built SublimeRead because I had a growing stack of books I genuinely wanted to read but never actually sat down with. Life kept getting in the way, and the ones I did finish were almost always the ones I listened to.
The problem: audiobooks only exist for a fraction of titles, and the books I owned as EPUBs and PDFs just sat there. So I built a reader that reads to you, in a natural voice, with every word highlighted on the original page as it goes. No store, no catalog, no buying the same book twice. You bring the files you already own and they stay yours.
A few things I care about: your page stays exactly as the publisher set it (margins, line breaks, poetry, all of it), a soft glow follows the sentence being read, and your place, bookmarks, and highlights sync across phone, tablet, and web.
