Statjot
Privacy-first analytics with real product intelligence
GA4 gives you pageviews. Statjot gives you product intelligence. Cookie-less analytics with web metrics, custom event funnels, retention cohorts, and Sankey user flow diagrams all from one JS snippet. No consent banners. No enterprise paywall for the features that actually matter. Free tier available. Paid from $9/mo.
Hey HN - maker here 👋
I built Statjot after one too many times opening GA4, spending 10 minutes
finding nothing useful, and closing it. The problem isn't just privacy - it's
that web analytics and product analytics have always been sold as separate
products at separate price points.
Statjot puts both in one place: cookie-less web metrics AND funnels, retention
cohorts, and user flow visualisation (Sankey diagrams) - all from a single JS
snippet, no consent banners required.
A few things I'm especially curious about your feedback on:
→ The free tier (3k events/mo) - too low? Too generous?
→ The Stats API - are you piping analytics into internal dashboards?
→ Sankey user flows - useful or a gimmick for your use case?
I'm here all day. Ask me anything about the product, the stack, or the
decisions I made. Nothing is off limits.

Who hunted Statjot?
Statjot was hunted by Daniel Valenzuela. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
