Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the developer of Stacky.
I built this because my iPhone only ever remembered the last thing I copied. On my Mac I'd lived with clipboard history for years, and I wanted that same habit on my phone — without my clips ever leaving devices I control.
That last part mattered a lot to me. A clipboard app can see passwords, addresses, anything you copy, so "just trust our server" wasn't good enough. So Stacky has no backend. Sync between iPhone and Mac runs through your own private iCloud database (CloudKit) — I don't operate a server, and I can't read anyone's clips. No ads, no tracking either.
What it does:
• Copies stack up automatically, so earlier ones aren't overwritten and lost
• Snippets for the lines you retype, with variables like {date} that fill in as you copy
• Links, emails and phone numbers get detected and tagged, so finding beats searching
• On Mac it lives in the menu bar, and ⇧⌘V opens a quick-paste palette — history and snippets one number-key away
It's freemium, and I've tried to keep the free tier genuinely usable: 50 clips of history + 10 snippets, forever. Pro unlocks unlimited history, full-text search, custom variables and iCloud sync across iPhone and Mac (small subscription or a one-time unlock).

I'm a solo/indie developer in Japan and this is very much a scratch-my-own-itch project. I'd love your honest feedback — especially on the free-tier limits (are 50 clips / 10 snippets too tight, about right?) and on the iCloud-only sync model. Happy to go deep on any of it.
