I built it because every gym tracker I tried was either bloated with social features or painfully slow to log a set. Splitt does one thing: let you track sets as fast as possible. One-tap logging, automatic PR detection, rest timer on your lock screen. No account required, no AI coaches, no social feeds. Would love to hear what you think — especially if you lift and hate slow apps

Love Splitt. The simple interface appeals to me and the widget on the lock screen is super useful. Used it for my workout this morning and I love that lack of social features.

One thing I noticed: the notification prompt on first app start. Most users tap opt out of notifs when asked before they've received value. Notif prompts are limited by device so saving it until after the first workout created or workout completed would likely improve opt-in rate meaningfully.

Curious if you’ve gotten similar feedback?

I’m curious how automatic PR detection works in real sessions. I’ve manually tracked PRs for years and it’s easy to miss small improvements.

I’ve struggled with tracking rest times properly especially when I’m focused on lifting heavy. Having a rest timer directly on the lock screen sounds great for me.
