Hi PH 👋 I'm the solo dev. I built SplitEasy after Splitwise moved core features behind a paywall and required an account. I just wanted something simple for trips and my flatshare: free, no sign-up, and private (data never leaves the phone). It figures out the minimum number of payments to settle a group, and you can share the bill as an image. iOS for now — Android may come if there's interest. Feedback very welcome, especially on what's missing vs. what you use today.
How does it actually figure out the fewest payments when the group gets past like 6 or 7 people with uneven amounts? Curious if the math holds up or if it just does the obvious settle-ups.
Love that it shows the minimum number of payments needed to settle everything. Whoever thought through that edge case really saved me a headache on group dinners.
Would love an option to save recurring groups (like my usual soccer crew) so I don't have to re-add everyone for every match. Bonus if it shows running totals across trips so you can spot who usually covers more.
