I'm Anita, a solo indie developer building SoChoo Pathshala.
Here's the honest truth — kids are going to be on a phone anyway. That screen time isn't going away. So instead of another 30 minutes on random videos or games, I wanted to build something where, if they're going to be on the phone, at least they're learning math while they're at it.
That's SoChoo Pathshala — bilingual (Hindi-English) math practice for kids aged 5–12. Short, focused sessions, not another endless-scroll app pretending to be educational.
This is a solo build — no funding, no team, just me shipping something I wished existed. Class 1 is free to try, classes 2–6 are ₹49 each, no subscription traps.

the bilingual approach is genuinely thoughtful, my little cousin tried the class 1 sample and bounced between the Hindi and English explanations on his own without getting stuck. also refreshing to see pay-per-class instead of another subscription trap.
Love that it's not another subscription trap — paying ₹49 once for a whole class feels right for parents who just want to test if their kid actually clicks with it. The bilingual setup is smart too since lots of kids here think better in Hindi but school math happens in English.
