I built SnapEnv because I kept hitting the same wall running a small team's infra: .env files scattered across servers, no audit trail when something broke, and tools like Doppler/Vault either too expensive or too much setup for a 2–20 person team.
SnapEnv is a secrets manager built specifically for that size of team: a CLI that pulls vars onto a server (snapenv pull --env prod, works great on a cron job), a Kubernetes operator that syncs straight into native k8s Secrets and auto-restarts your pods when something changes, and a dashboard with per-environment permissions so a Developer can have write access to staging but zero access to prod unless you explicitly grant it.
