Snacc
Point your camera at any meal, get calories instanty
Calorie tracking is broken. You take a photo of lunch, then spend 5 minutes searching a database that returns wrong results anyway. Snacc fixes this. Point your camera at any meal — home-cooked, restaurant, or packaged — and get an instant breakdown of calories, protein, carbs, and fat. The AI identifies the food and estimates portions from the photo. No manual logging, no barcodes. Built with React Native, Gemini vision, and Groq. Free on Android.
Hey PH! 👋 I'm Kushal, and I built Snacc because calorie tracking was driving me crazy.
Every app had the same flow: take a photo → manually search a database → pick the closest match → realize it's wrong → give up. I just wanted to point my phone at food and get an answer.
So I built Snacc. Point your camera at any meal and the AI gives you an instant breakdown — calories, protein, carbs, fat — from the photo alone. No searching, no barcodes, no logging fatigue.
It works on home-cooked meals, restaurant food, packaged snacks. The AI estimates portions from the image, so you don't have to.
It's free on Android. Would love your feedback — especially on foods it gets wrong (I'm tracking those to improve the model). Happy to answer any questions!
A meal history view would be really useful so I can quickly see what I ate yesterday or last week without scrolling through everything. Maybe even a weekly summary chart showing my average macros would help spot patterns.
